As he travels the world with spray cans in hand, Parisian street artist C215 (previously) depicts what he describes as “things and people that society aims at keeping hidden.” Homeless people, street kids, smokers, and refugees are all muses for his unique brand of intricate stencil work that reduce his subject’s faces into sinewy outlines. One of his favorite things to depict are the faces of friendly felines that peer out from walls or on the sides of trash bins, oddly perfect and regal despite their rugged urban surroundings. Woofstock has grown into a festive tour de force, now drawing tens of thousands of dogs in the know. It’s without question, the largest outdoor festival for dogs in all of North America. Over 200,000 attendees and their faithful furry BFFs will be heading down to Woodbine Park in Toronto’s Beaches for this years festival on May 28th & 29th from 10am – 6pm.
